A Dedication:
Susan Bookbinder
July 12, 1946 - January 17, 2026

Sue Bookbinder was far more than a supporter and a Board Member of the Naples Community Orchestra—she was a devoted advocate, a steady presence, and a cherished friend. Her belief in the orchestra and her generosity sustained us through some of our most challenging moments, helping ensure that the music continued. With her ready smile and signature embrace, Sue brought warmth, encouragement, and joy to everyone she touched. Her legacy lives on in the orchestra she loved, and she will be deeply missed.
Thank you, Sue.

In Memory of Sue Bookbinder
The Naples Community Orchestra honors the life and legacy of Sue Bookbinder, whose generosity, insight, and unwavering commitment helped shape the orchestra during some of its most important years. Sue supported NCO not only financially, but also through her thoughtful ideas, guidance, and deep understanding of what elevates an organization from good to excellent. She was a steady force as the orchestra grew in strength and stature within Southwest Florida.
Sue brought warmth and joy to everything she did and everywhere she went. She approached tasks with a smile on her face and was a valued presence at Board meetings, always engaged in discussions about the orchestra’s future. At post-concert receptions, she welcomed audience members and musicians alike, forging connections and helping create the sense of family that defines the NCO experience. Truly, she knew no strangers.
Sue’s kindness, encouragement, and unmistakable warmth left a lasting mark on our community. Her legacy lives on in the music, the musicians, and the organization she so deeply loved. May her memory be a blessing to all of us.
