Dreams, Fairy Tales & Faith explores the space where fantasy and spirituality meet. Ravel’s refined elegance and playful brilliance give way to Humperdinck’s enchanted world of childhood dreams, culminating in Mendelssohn’s Reformation Symphony—a powerful statement of conviction and musical faith.


Imagination has always shaped the way composers explore belief, wonder, and meaning. Dreams, Fairy Tales & Faith: Where Imagination Meets Belief traces that journey through music that is at once delicate, magical, and deeply affirming.


The concert opens with Ravel’s hauntingly beautiful Pavane pour une infante défunte, a work of graceful nostalgia and refined restraint. Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G follows, blending jazz-inflected rhythms, crystalline lyricism, and virtuosic sparkle in a work that balances playfulness with profound elegance.


After intermission, selections from Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel transport listeners into a world of fairy tales and childhood innocence, where dreams and protection intertwine. The program concludes…
