A tour de force of favorite classics from around the world. The concert will feature works of Handel, Brahms, Dvorak, Respighi and Sibelius. Join us for a concert you will truly enjoy! There will be a reception following the concert, and all are welcome to join!

About the event

Artistic Director Alvin Ho will lead the Naples Community Orchestra in the opening concert of their 31st season on Saturday, January 13 at 3 pm at Moorings Presbyterian Church in Naples. The concert, titled "Light Classics Around the World", will feature the following works:

  • Respighi: Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite 1
  • Handel: Water Music, Suite No. II
  • Rossini: Barber of Seville Overture
  • Dvorak: Slavonic Dances #1 & #8
  • Brahms: Hungarian Dance #1
  • Sibelius: Overture to Finlandia

Alvin is the assistant conductor for the Naples Philharmonic, and in his second year with NCO.   Hear Alvin's thoughts on the following concert features:
